Located in one of the most beautiful locations on the River Nile, since 1899, Sofitel Old Cataract's reputation does not end there. Agatha Christie's famous novel, Death on the Nile, has a great impact on the hotel's continued popularity. There are many other Sofitel Old Cataract features that made this a memorable shoot. The amazing bar and restaurant, along with the lobby terrace, gave us many creative ideas. Inspiration came from visiting the room where Agatha Christie wrote her novel, the antique elevator she used, the river on the steep rocks on the banks of the Nile, and the ancient ruins on the opposite shore. The cinematographic shoot inspired the Lens Films creative team from start to finish.
